Coming from a multi-generational family of car lovers and small business owners, Derek proudly follows in his family’s footsteps, with the formation of Black Lane Garage. Derek had the pleasure of learning from an early age, to build, repair and restore cars with his dad. Now, with over 2 decades of his own experience as a certified, licensed Mechanic and certified, licensed Auto-Body Collision Repairer, he brings that expertise with him to Black Lane Garage.
Derek is determined to build on the reputation of exceptional, reliable service instilled in him by his family. A lifelong resident of the Elgin community, Derek is proud to be an independent small business owner that provides automotive services and some custom restoration services to the residents and businesses of Central Elgin and surrounding area.
